Problem : Battery Stays On (LED Glows Constantly)

Free2light Electronic Cigarette Troubleshooting Guide

There are several possible causes including a damaged battery and battery pressure switches sticking which can cause the micro chip to jam on. Note: If you can't get this unjammed, you will require a new battery.
·Step (a) Knock  the LED end of the battery on a solid, surface (worktop Etc. a few times (not too hard, just hard enough to give it a good nudge) and see if the LED has turned off. If this does not work, you can move on to Step (b).

·Step (b) Seperate the cartomizer from the battery. Directly blow into and inhale from the battery. Repeat this at least 3 -4 times. If unsuccessful, you can move on to Step (c).

·Step (c) Blow and inhale on the LED glowing tip. Repeat this at least 3-4 times if required. If unsuccessful, you can move on to Step (d).

·Step (d) Allow the battery to completely drain (as a last resort). Draining the battery of a charge may take 48 hours. Once the LED tip  has stopped glowing recharge for the required time. Loss of power may prompt the battery to correct  itself. It has nothing to do with clearing battery memory. Lithium-ion batteries do not have memory and do not suffer from the "locked memory" effect. Note : This step is the last resort as lithium-ion batteries should not be allowed to fully discharge. If this final step is also unsuccessful, you will probably need to purchase a new battery.
Note : Do not leave the batteries on charge overnight. Remove the battery from the charger when fully charged and switch off the power supply to the charger.

Problem : Battery Dead
Possible causes include : faulty battery, overuse, ill treatment, environmental conditions and lifespan exceeded.
·Step (1) Place battery in a room at a constant temperature for at least  24 hours.
·Step (2) Attempt to charge the battery. If charging is unsuccessful then you need to purchase a new battery from Free2light.
·Step (3) If battery charges, try attaching a new cartomizer. If unsuccessful, purchase a new battery.
Note : Batteries are extremely sensitive to environmental conditions due to the micro technology involved. For reference only, we advise a rechargeable battery has life expectancy of around 300 charge cycles. The lifespan significantly reduces if batteries are frequently re-charged and in constant use.

Problem : Loss of Vapour/No Vapour
Possible causes include : Dirty battery connection, dirty cartomizer connection, cartomizer low or empty, battery low power, inhaling too deeply.
·Step (1) Clean the thread of your electronic cigarette battery (the brass screw thread)
·Step (2) Clean the thread of your cartomizer (the brass screw thread)
·Step (3) Ensure battery is fully charged up.
·Step (4) Ensure the cartomizer is not empty.
Note : If you inhale deep and frequently, a cartomizer will empty far quicker than normal.
